The spicy watercress green juice recipe has a real energizing zing to it!  Please do not worry, this green juice recipe won’t upset your tummy, as ginger root is responsible for the nice zing you get.  Ginger root is known for soothing tummy troubles and healing gut health.

This recipe is so simple, it’s sick!  It uses a mere three key-ingredients for the juice creation.  Ginger root, a whole orange (minus the peel, of course!) and watercress!

If you are feeling a little under the weather or sleepy, this is an instant recipe you can make to lift your spirits.  It has a very sunshiny energy to it.

Due to the fresh orange used, this recipe has a lot of pulp.  If you’re not a big fan of pulp, then I recommend you cut some of it by adding more water.  This should cut down on the pulp some.

With juice recipes, it’s also natural to see a little foam at the top.  Don’t let that alarm you.  It’s a combination of the produce used and the speed of the blade from your juice or blender.  If you don’t like it, you can try skimming the top with a spoon or little net.

 

Spicy Watercress Green Juice Recipe

This is an energizing juice recipe with minimal key ingredients. It has a bit of a zing to it!

Ingredients:
  • 1 handful, depending on your juicer Watercress
  • 1 Whole Orange, minus the peel Orange
  • 1 Large Sprig Ginger Root
  • As Needed Purified Water

Instructions:

First, cut the whole orange in half and remove the peel.

Next, take the orange peel and run it down the garbage disposal. That way, your recycling. It also creates a fresh orange smell in the kitchen.

Last, depending on your juicer, add watercress, then orange, ginger root on top, and water. Blend well for up to five minutes. Enjoy!
