Body Cleanse Meal Plan For Healthy Eating Tarot Reading

I promised you that at the end of the Healthy Eating Tarot Reading I’d create the perfect meal plan that is personal to this reading and your situation.

Please keep in mind that a body cleanse is different from a regular diet. You are detoxing. Your body will be releasing toxins for the next three days, or longer if you choose to extend it.

Several things will happen during a body cleanse that are important for you to know ahead of time. That way, you can prepare to start your body cleanse close to home, and you won’t have any embarrassing mishaps.

 

  • You’ll need to stay close to a bathroom. Your body will be shedding toxins, and one of the ways it does that, is through going to the bathroom and flushing out your system. This will especially occur more on days two and three.
  • You might experience breakouts. Detoxing makes you sweat and releases toxins through your pores. You may experience a blemish or two during this time. No worries. this is completely normal. You just might want to up your facial cleanse and add acne fighter to your regimen.
  • You may experience flu-like symptoms. This happens because your body is freaking out and releasing all the toxins all at once. It happens more before releasement, when things are still building up, and you haven’t had twenty trips to the bathroom yet. That’s why it’s always wise to do a detox when you have some time off or don’t have to be somewhere.

3-Day Body Cleanse Meal Plan

Rules of the Body Cleanse:
1. Avoid all processed and cooked foods. That means your dressings, mayo, everything. If you have a salad, it’s okay to use red wine vinegar and oil with a sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt. You may want to avoid nuts during this time too.
2. Drink tons and tons of water. You are detoxing, cleaning out your body of residual, so you’ll want to be flushing and replenishing.
3. Avoid coffee. You are supposed to avoid coffees and caffeinated drinks and teas. As someone who phased coffee almost completely out of her life, I know that if you cut it all out at once you will get excruciating pain. It’s better to slowly phase it out. So, I say just reduce it to one cup a day during this time.
4. Try to avoid canned foods. Canned foods are notorious for high sodium intake. If you do have veggies from a can or chick peas, then be sure to wash them thoroughly.
That’s pretty much it. It’s a lot all at once, but by the time it’s complete, you’ll truly be glad you did it! I do body cleanses several times a year, sometimes short ones like this, and it’s always a benefit to my life.

Body Cleanse Menu

Day One – 
Breakfast – Drink a hearty breakfast smoothie with almond milk. (see recipes below)
Lunch – Eat a fruit bowl or a scrumptious hippie bowl.
Dinner – Dinnertime juice with beets.
Snacks – Eat a whole apple, orange, or banana.
To curb hunger: Have a sweetie juice in between.
Day Two – 
Breakfast – Eat a Healthy, Happy Date Shake. (See recipes below)
Lunch – Eat Buddha Fruit Bowl or a Buddha Veggie Bowl Dinner – Eat a dinnertime juice V8 juice and crunch on some celery sticks
Snacks – celery sticks and carrot sticks To curb hunger: Have a Ray of Sunshine Bowl
Day Three – 
Breakfast – Cold and Sweet Chia Seed Smoothie Bowl (See recipes below)
Lunch – Eat Living Sprouted Quinoa Mini Bowl
Dinner – Eat a Bowl of Soaking Fresh Fruit mixed with Kale
Snacks – Have a Leafy Green Tomato Sandwich
To curb hunger: Eat raw chick peas (for protein) Be sure to peel off outer skin in a separate bowl first.

Hearty Breakfast Smoothie with Almond Milk: Pour 3/4 cup of almond milk into the blender with crushed ice. Add a heaping handful of blueberries, one whole banana, one sliced pair, and one small ripe avocado for creaminess and blend well. I like to leave the blender on the blend setting for two or three minutes. When complete and you have the right creamy texture, add a sprinkle of grape nuts to the top of it. Drink up!
Scrumptious Hippie Bowl: Throw a layer of romaine leaves in the bottom of a bowl, add a layer of diced tomatoes, then add a third layer of diced avocado (be sure it is soft and ripe), then at the top add fresh berries (strawberry slices, blackberries, and raspberries). Add Agave Nectar Sweet and Sour dressing.
Agave Nectar Sweet and Sour Dressing: Add 1/4 cup of agave nectar in a bowl and mix with a pinch or two of tahini for flavor. Blend well with a spoon. Then add it to the top of Scrumptious Hippie Bowl for flavor.
Dinnertime Juice With Beets: Cut up beetroot and add an entire beet to the juicer, by either feeding it in or adding to a cup, depending on the kind of juicer you have. Add a medium piece of ginger, a cup full of sliced pineapple, and a celery stick. Then add purified water and juice. Drink up! Makes two delicious servings.
Sweetie Juice: Use one or two small sweetie oranges for the juicer. In some places, they might be called cuties. Basically, they are those tiny oranges you can buy in a big bag or carton at the grocery store. Then add refreshing water-based cukes or cucumber slices. Use up to a whole medium cucumber. The add one small turmeric root and one sprig of ginger root. Add purified water and juice! This is a spritzy natural energy drink that tastes amazing!
Happy, Healthy Date Shake: Add almond milk to the blender at about 3/4 cups of the way full. Add crushed ice or four to six ice cubes. Add a banana, an entire container of dates, and a sprinkle of grape nuts for crunchiness. In addition to that, add in one teaspoon vanilla extract, a teaspoon of agave nectar, and two tablespoons of each chia seeds and flax seeds. Blend well and drink up! It’s very filling and yes, I’m happy to report it does make you happy.
Buddha Fruit Bowl: Add one packet of agave nectar and sugar in the raw to the bottom of the bowl and stir. Then cube watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and banana slices. Sprinkle with a fine layer of cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir up and eat!
Buddha Veggie Bowl: Add a light layer of red wine vinegar and oil to the bottom of the bowl. Then add spices. You’ll want to add basil (be sure to add this spice to your hand and rub off your hand into the bowl, to unlock flavor). Then add a pink Himalayan sea salt black pepper to it. Stir with a spoon. Then add a layer of kale, 5 or 6 large ripe black olives, large slices of steak tomato, and top with a few cucumber slices. Sprinkle with sea salt. Then stir up the bowl, moving the sauces over the leaves and other veggies to make a flavorful vegan bowl!
Dinnertime V8 Juice: Use one celery stalk, one large steak tomato cut into smaller slices for the juicer, four carrots, one radish, one beet, and a small bunch of parsley. Add a shot of hot sauce. Sprinkle some cayenne pepper. Juice it all up with purified water. Depending on the kind of juicer you have, play it by ear. If less is more, that’s okay too. It’s about making it fulfilling with a little bit of spice!
Ray of Sunshine Bowl: Add a light layer of crunchy grape nuts, almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, chia seeds, and flax seeds and let them soak overnight, so the chia seeds can expand. The next day, add orange slices, banana slices, lemon slices, and grapefruit slices to the bowl. Add a splash of almond milk and a sprinkle of more flax seeds. Eat up! It’s sunshiny and happy, for sure.
Cold and Sweet Chia Seeds Smoothie Bowl: Start by prepping your bowl first. Add a 3/4 cup of cashew milk to blender. For the bowl, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add in chia seeds and let them soak overnight and expand. Pull out of the fridge and head back over to make your smoothie. Add 3/4 cup of cashew milk and a teaspoon of more vanilla extract. Add in a large ripe banana, a batch of blueberries (one entire small container), coconut shavings, and more chia seeds (about two tablespoons) for blending. Now blend the smoothie for two or three minutes, don’t add water. This will give your smoothie bowl a thick consistency and congealed texture. Now pour into bowl with expanded chia seeds and add sliced bananas to the top. Clean blender and dry. Add in two tablespoons more of chia seeds by themselves and crush. Then pour over the top of Cold and Sweet Chia Seed Smoothie bowl and enjoy!
Living Sprouted Quinoa Mini Bowl – For this one, you’ll need to soak quinoa (about a half a cup) overnight in a bowl of water with special mix (see below).
Special Mix: Add one sugar in the raw packet. one tablespoon agave nectar, dried apricots, and cashew milk to a bowl and let sit as is. Do not stir! Add this special mix to soaking quinoa for overnight flavoring.
The next day, you can eat it live! It will have sprouted and you can finally stir for flavor, then add more cashew milk as needed.
Soaking Wet Fruit Mixed With Kale: Add a handful of kale and a tropical fruit to a bowl of soy milk, filled 1/4 way up the bowl. Kale should go first, then add kiwi, banana slices, coconut slices, pineapple slices, and acai berry. Sprinkle flax seeds at the top and eat and drink up!
Leafy Green Tomato Sandwich: Use butter lettuce as the bread. Use two overlapping leaves open on each side, so that you can put the filling in first. Add slices of tomato to the inside, fill it up with as many slices as you want. Add avocado slices next. Then sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Add a touch of red wine vinegar and oil. Close up both pieces of your lettuce bun, pick up, and eat like a sandwich!

  • Hot Sauce (Technically, this is processed, but we’re going to let this one slide. Just be sure it’s vegan.)

  • Sugar in the Raw Packets

  • At least four small avocados, one ripened for the first day.
  • Kiwi
  • A batch of large bananas
  • One or two cukes or cucumbers, if not more!
  • One large batch of celery
  • One large batch of carrots
  • Chia Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Kale
  • One Coconut, to be cut into slices.
  • Dried or dehydrated apricots
  • Grape Nuts
  • Blueberries

  • Sweeties or Cuties (Remember, those are those baby oranges)

  • 2 to 3 whole lemons, if not a whole bag. Just in case!

To add to your detox, make some cucumber water. You can do this by adding an entire cucumber, cut into slices, into your purified water bottle or water pitcher.
Cut a lemon in half and squeeze both halves of the lemon into the water. Try to catch the seeds or de-seed with a spoon as you go along. Drink up and keep refreshed and hydrated at all times!
To extend the length of your detox, just use the list to add more produce or simply wait till you get low on something, then run to the store.

(FAQ)

1.) Will I lose weight on this detox?  
Yes! Most likely you will. You can lose up to five pounds in three days using the body cleanse. Please keep in mind, that some of that will be water weight. Water weight will return as soon as you are replenished though, so try to subtract your water weight from your poop weight, to reveal your true weight. Make sense?
2.) Will I see an increase in energy? 
Yes! That’s one of the first things you’ll notice on this body cleanse. It’s very motivating and inspiring. It will improve not only your energy levels but your mood too!
3.)  What if I don’t like something listed here?
My rule is, just be sure to try it at least once to really know for sure if you like it or not. If you still don’t, just don’t eat it. You can substitute some of the fruits, the milk that is used for soy milk if you prefer the taste (some people do) and substitute some of the veggies. This is a flexible list!
4.) What if I can’t find some of the ingredients?
If you can’t find some of the fresh ingredients, try to check parts of the grocery store you’ve possibly had never been in before.
Most grocery stores have an organic section or a section with mostly vegan and health foods. You can always ask someone for help too. Also, you can always try Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, or Whole Foods. They are certain to have any, if not all, of these ingredients.
If you really get stuck, try Amazon or Etsy. They sell special ingredients just like the ones on your grocery list!
